Diaspora explores the enduring displacement and forced expulsion of indigenous people from their native homelands. Generally, diasporas are driven by civil unrest as a result of geopolitical conflicts motivated by foreign intervention particularly over the land’s natural resources.

The destabilisation creates a power vacuum that enables the break down of local order, giving rise to religious extremism and forging terrorist groups. This inevitably exacerbates the worlds refugee crisis, pushing the lands indigenous people and their culture closer to extinction. The destruction of sacred sites and the unabashed theft of ancient artefacts is a loss for all of humanity.
